(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Hamest Safaryan, B2B Sales Team Manager at Digitain granted an interview with SoloAzar concerning the presence of the firm at SIGMA MALTA that took place from 15th till 17th november 2022. She also gave us her view about the iGaming growth market and the business performance for the World Cup Qatar 2022.

Referring to the importance of being at the Sigma Malta Expo Hamest Safaryan stated the following: “As we know Sigma has many events over the year, but Sigma Malta is the biggest in all Sigma shows, where the organizers put the most effort, so it is always full of new opportunities, old and new faces and everything is enhanced with good November Malta weather.”
Safaryan remarked the successful performance Digitain did at this edition and brought into focus that at the Annual Sigma Awards, Digitain won the prestigious award “Platform of the Year”. She added, “despite the fact that for some of the team members this was their first Sigma Malta, the teams had a lot of pre-defined meetings and of course we were happy to meet new prospects who were stopping by our big and vibrant stand showing interest in our in-house products. We also have been asked many questions about our new Ambassador Luís Figo, which obviously created a great interest around our brand.”
Talking about the future of iGaming Hamest said “it´s no easy to be predicted, especially in this fast-changing political environment, which indirectly impacts every industry.” She expanded her idea: “However, I believe that the trends now move the iGaming suppliers more to the direction of having their own in-house content when it comes to selling. On the other side, there is a trend for operators to go directly with many suppliers and build their own platforms for internal use.
And concluded this topic with giving ther point of view on this: “the dependence on content reselling in future will be less beneficial and will dramatically decrease.”
When asked about the challenges of the firm about the growth of the iGaming the Sales Team Manager pointed out “the challenges will always be there for every growing industry, but the companies with their unique strategies and correct management can overcome these challenges. I am positive Digitain has already accepted and overcome the major challenges by improving our product portfolio with more in-house products, an effective way of becoming competitive in pricing and also in unique offering. Also, our expansion into more regulated markets has been a strategic aim that we are now delivering. By October 2022 our Digitain Sales team, under the support of Chief Business Officer Simon Westbury, achieved 60% more sales deals, compared to 2021 and completed 8 Tier 1 and Tier 2 regulated market deals.”
To conclude, Hamest highlighted Digitains´goals related to the World Cup: “The World Cup is always a celebration for everyone in the world and Digitain in no exception. We have taken advantage both on B2B and B2C sides. We have delivered an impressive performance across the business to get as many partners live as possible before the start of the competition. On the B2C side, our Sportsbook team created and delivered a range of the best bonuses and promotions for our Operators use and for the engagement of their players.”
Finally, she admitted she would like Spain to win the Qatar WorldCup! We send you the best of the lucks!.
